Steve Poliks, COO

Steve oversees sales and the daily operations of Upper Valley Press and Target Direct, he has over 35 years' experience in the print and mailing industries. Steve has very solid organizational skills, knows how to get the most out of his team involving them in continuous process improvement objectives, and standardizing operating procedures. His background also includes finance and accounting.

Steve initially got into the print industry with Treasure Chest Advertising and eventually became Eastern Group Production Manager with responsibility for production planning, customer service, out-sourcing and paper purchasing for 10 locations. He left Vertis after being recruited to become President, Proline Printing, Avon CT division where he had responsibility for both operations and sales and had significant success taking the company from bankruptcy to profitability in nine months as well as building a personal customer sales base of 10 million dollars. Steve moved on joining Integrity Graphics, a small sheetfed printer as a fully commissioned Sales Consultant and subsequently added operational responsibilities for their fulfillment, warehousing, and shipping areas. He transitioned to Hallmark Cards, in Enfield CT where he took on the role of Personalization Fulfillment Center Manager to launch a new product line producing and fulfilling direct to consumer orders of personalized children's books and ornaments. And most recently he was General Manager, Trend Offset, Avon CT division overseeing sales and operations functions.
